1. Our commitment

Tenth Tech is committed to respectful, fair and inclusive professional collaboration. We seek to give people equitable access to opportunities and to create working arrangements in which contributions are evaluated on their relevance, capability, conduct and quality rather than personal characteristics unrelated to the work.

We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or retaliation. We also recognize that inclusive service delivery includes the accessibility and usability of the digital products we build.

2. Scope and accountability

This policy covers Tenth Tech's recruitment and engagement decisions, internal working relationships, leadership practices and interaction with employees, applicants, consultants, subcontractors, partners and clients, to the extent relevant to Tenth Tech's operations and contractual responsibilities.

The Founder & CEO owns adoption, communication, oversight, complaint handling and periodic review. Project leads are expected to apply the principles in resource selection, collaboration and delivery. Contractors working under Tenth Tech's direction are expected to observe this policy while assigned to our work.

3. Equal opportunity and fair selection

We aim to assess candidates and contributors against consistent criteria appropriate to the role, including relevant skills, experience, availability, communication, reliability and demonstrated work.

Selection and assignment decisions must not be based on irrelevant assumptions or unlawful discrimination relating to gender, disability, age, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality or other characteristics protected by applicable law.

Where relevant and reasonably practicable, we will make adjustments to recruitment and work processes so qualified people are not excluded by unnecessary barriers. Role expectations, evaluation criteria and compensation terms should be communicated clearly and applied fairly, taking account of responsibilities, skills, experience and applicable laws.

This policy does not establish numerical demographic quotas or imply workforce statistics that have not been collected and verified.

4. Respectful working environment

Everyone working on Tenth Tech assignments is expected to communicate professionally, respect others' time and contributions, avoid abusive or exclusionary conduct, and address disagreements through constructive discussion.

Discrimination, harassment, intimidation and retaliation for raising a concern in good faith are prohibited. Project leads must intervene when conduct undermines a safe and respectful working environment and escalate material concerns to the policy owner.

5. Inclusive collaboration and reasonable adjustments

Tenth Tech works with distributed contributors and international clients. Meetings, handovers and decisions should be documented in a manner that makes participation practical across locations, time zones and disciplines.

We aim to use clear written communication, accessible shared materials, reasonable meeting arrangements and transparent ownership of tasks. Requests for work-related adjustments, including accessibility requirements, will be considered in good faith, subject to applicable law, role needs and reasonable operational constraints.

We do not require people to disclose personal health information or other sensitive characteristics except when necessary and lawfully justified for a specific process.

6. Inclusive digital service delivery

Our responsibility to inclusion extends to the products and content we design and develop. Depending on project scope and client requirements, teams should:

  • Consider users with different abilities, devices, languages, connection speeds and levels of technical familiarity.
  • Use semantic structure, keyboard navigation, readable text, clear error states and appropriately accessible interactive controls.
  • Consider WCAG 2.2 as a reference for relevant web accessibility requirements, with the contractual accessibility target agreed for each project.
  • Use representative user or stakeholder input where feasible, and document limitations when certain groups cannot be included in research.
  • Avoid making critical information available exclusively through complex visuals or maps when appropriate accessible alternatives can be provided.

We do not claim that every existing client system already conforms to WCAG or has undergone a formal accessibility audit.

7. Concerns, confidentiality and protection from retaliation

People may report discrimination, harassment, exclusion or retaliation involving Tenth Tech work to info@thetenthtech.com. Reports should describe the concern and relevant context, without requiring unnecessary sensitive personal information.

We will review concerns promptly and impartially to the extent practicable, limit information access to those who need it, offer a reasonable opportunity for relevant parties to be heard, and determine proportionate corrective action where warranted. If a concern involves the policy owner or a conflict of interest, an independent reviewer or appropriate external adviser should be considered for that specific matter.

Retaliation against anyone raising a concern in good faith or participating in a review is prohibited. This process does not limit anyone's rights to raise concerns with a client, regulator, legal adviser or appropriate authority.

8. Supplier and project-team expectations

When engaging specialist contributors, we will communicate relevant conduct, confidentiality, accessibility and collaboration expectations. Individual contractors remain responsible for their own organizations' separate legal obligations and policies. Their independent policies do not automatically become Tenth Tech policies.

For client engagements, any additional relevant codes of conduct or safeguarding obligations will be reviewed and incorporated into the delivery arrangements as agreed.

9. Review and continuous improvement

The policy owner will review the policy at least annually and after significant incidents or regulatory changes. Improvements may include better recruitment criteria, accessible document templates, clearer complaint procedures, or training and guidance tailored to actual team needs.
